Architectural delights

When you go to a trade show it can be so easy to get completely overwhelmed and oversaturated. The last NYIGF was no exception for me. However, I usually leave with a few designers who have made a serious impression on me. Molly M Designs http://www.mollymdesigns.com/ out of San Francisco is a perfect example! I still remember how impressed I was at her exceptional use of lasercutting. You see alot of that nowadays - and mostly it's the less than inspiring "made in china" variety. Molly McGrath's work has a visual intricacy, delicacy and craftsmanship that I find delightful - not surprisingly she is an architect by training. Her layered designs are my favorite!
