Bon Appetit Baby!

So early in February I attended the NYIGF here in NYC. Mostly to see friends from around the country but also to see what's new out there in the marketplace. One of the products I was taken with, although I must admit I found them very expensive, was this bamboo Table Manners Set from FUNFAM, a Japanese company. The bamboo is food and dishwasher safe, the design is elegant and minimal, and above all I love that it teaches babies and children from the youngest age about good table manners, setting the table, and using utensils properly. I'm a big proponent of spending time at the dinner table together and eating with respect for those around you. Now, back when I was a kid this was strictly enforced and you learned it the hard way. So how great to teach your kids in a natural and organic way from the earliest of ages - it's like a big puzzle!
