Greetings from the snowy Hudson Valley! It's coming down fast - almost 6" already. I have so many cool things to share so it was hard to pick the first one. I settled on this necklace from designer Alison Bear because it is one of the newest pieces in my collection and I was really taken with her work when I met her this past September in Atlanta. Since sewing is a favorite hobby of mine, seeing her combine fabric with silver really piqued my interest. Believe me, I see alot of jewelry so I'm kind of jaded but the modern, whimsical nature of her work resonated. You can see more of her work on her website and you can find her work for sale at beehiveshop.com. Hope you liked it - catch you again next week with another delightful dish!

I've had my eye on her sewing machine necklace since I saw it at Beehive, I better go and snap it up before someone else does!
